Since you 'are an internet sort of guy' I think you will be pleased to know most rulebooks, adventures and such can be found in digital form over at and often through the publishers as well. Hope you guys are as friendly as the SR reddit I have no experience with the Shadowrun-fellows, but we're generally pretty easygoing 'round these parts. Check out the links in the sidebar if you're curious about the different incarnations of RQ.

The new RQ:G-quickstart seems to be very well received (and if you're an old 1e-guy, should be easily digested). RQ6 that became Mythras is still my favourite. Ww2 pacific heroes serial keygen cracks.

I haven't seen what they've done with the newest edition, but I don't know if it will usurp RQ6/Mythras any time soon. Links to TDM who publishes it, and the quickstart, in the sidebar again. Also, I demand links to your twitch! A lot, there are now 5 magic systems - Folk Magic - (was battle magic) - now is fixed spells generally less powerful than before, ie. Bound spirits generally confer an ability or trait to the animist, like a healing spirit can cure a disease, a snake spirit might confer heat vision. Spirits can be bound to a fetish by a shaman and given to a less experienced animist to use. Theism - (Rune magic) - works much as before except spells tend to be more powerful and more accessible to cast and reusable for all worshippers. Miracles as they're known can be cast out of a pool of points which get refreshed by prayer or worship of some kind, generally this pool is a fraction of your pow. Sorcery - like the sorcery of RQ3 but much easier to use in play. Suits custom spell making. Mysticism - Mystic abilities of the individual, like wushu and jedi like powers.

I'm a few days late, but if you're comfortable with RuneQuest 1/2/3rd Edition you're better off waiting for the new one from Chaosium. I'll give you a rundown! After 1st (1978) and 2nd Edition (1980), which are essentially the same, Chaosium worked with Avalon Hill to put out a 3rd Edition (1984) with a generic fantasy setting. All of the Glorantha / Rune Magic / etc. Stuff was released as supplements.
